I hate shots!

Yeah, you heard me right.  I had to take Izzy to get her shots today.  What a crappy deal.  Of course, she woke up this morning with her regular morning smile.  We went to the Doctors and she was all smiles there for anyone who would pay attention to her.  When they finally gave her the stupid shots, she screamed.... and screamed.  I couldn't get her to calm down.  Her doctor kept coming back in the room and saying things like  "can you get her to stop crying?" and "boy, she sure has been crying for a while."  I ended up having to take her out of the office screaming.  She's had a fever all day and has only smiled a couple times.... which of course was followed by some pathetic whimpering.  Yeah, I know I'm a nurse and I give shots to people, but it sure does suck to be on the receiving end of the deal!
